Every year, swarms of music-loving creators, industry personnel and fans come to Brighton to see showcases from over 500 emerging artists, from all over the world, in 30+ walkable venues across the city. The Great Escape Festival is one of the most well-known and talked about moments in the musical calendar.
We’re thrilled to announce that three ReBalance artists have been added to this year’s line up. Find out more about them below and make sure you pick up a ticket to see them in action across the weekend.
KEEDS
Keedz is about to make a huge impact on the grime scene. Listen to her recently released single, ‘Lifestyle’ which premiered on GRM Daily below. If you like flow and punchlines to follow, you’re going to want to add Keedz to your playlists.
LUNA
Taking cues from Four Tet’s sampling trickery and the layered production of SOPHIE, LUNA is an amalgamation of a classic voice and innovative electronica. She has crafted a sound reminiscent of fellow female self-produced artists Banks and FKA Twigs. Her samples, sub and sass approach has already caught the eye of industry tastemakers, having been interviewed on Radio 1 and receiving airplay on 6Music, Amazing Radio and Worldwide FM. Other triumphs include music residencies in Hannover and Brussels, performing at Berlin’s Bar Bobu and supporting Let’s Eat Grandma and PIXX.
CHROMA
CHROMA are a ferocious 3-piece from South Wales oozing with high energy. They mix a blend of grunge, pop & alt rock, comparable to The Gossip and the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s.
CHROMA have had the pleasure of playing on some amazing stages such as Reading and Leeds festival and BBC Radio 1’s big weekend and have been tipped by many industry professionals as ones to watch.
CHROMA are set to release their Debut Album in 2020.
The Great Escape takes place 13-16 May 2020.
